On his way to Austin, Texas

The Pirate is on his way to Austin, Texas, along with his current host and her friend Charlie. The Pirate figured that any state that is known for its hats, among other things, can’t be all that bad. What he doesn’t know is that Austin is said to be quite unlike the rest of the Lone Star State but we won’t tell him that just yet. Here’s some pictures of the Dread Pirate Gavroche on his way to the Great State.

On the plane which is BOOORRRIIINNNGGGG according to the Pirate who has a very refined way of expressing himself, obviously.

We had a transfer in Chicago where it was -4C (25F) so we didn’t go into town because we didn’t bring our coats.

INDIA!!!

So the last entry was like "yeah whatever: Germany" and "been there!", right? Well shame on you but also check this out: THE PIRATE IS IN INDIA!! The wife/manager of bandleader Lucas van Merwijk, she goes by the name of Roosje, kindly offered to take care of the Pirate for a while. At least that's what Rob tells us. I think there was probably a bit more whining and pretty pleeease? and ultimately (attempts at) intimidation followed by illegal stowaway action involved. However he did it, he did it: here is a picture of the Dread Pirate Gavroche in India.

Finally

I was eaten by a headless fish. Maybe it was the other way around but I don’t remember.
Must do that again sometime.
